Making Your Book Look Like the Life of the Party

'PlaceIt' provides fantastic book templates for photo and video promotion.

On social media, posts with images tend to get a lot more attention than those with just text. That’s especially true when the images are attractive and/or interesting. So, as an author trying to sell books, it’s a good idea to include photos and video in your social media posts.

One of my favorite online resources for creating such imagery is PlaceIt. The website offers a ton of mock-up photos, animations, and videos to make your book (along with lots of other products) look super-stylish.

As hinted at in the before and after shots above, all you have to do is select a template-design, upload a picture of your book’s cover, download the finished image, and share the awesome results on your social-media accounts and/or website.
