Suffice to say, book clubs are all about reading and discovering books. Your book doesn’t have to be a new release to attract a book club. These groups can be great discoverability tools for getting your book into the hands of more readers.

In today’s publishing environment, connecting with readers is paramount to success, and book clubs are a great way to do that. Plus, word-of-mouth is one of the strongest tools that authors have, and book clubs and reading groups can start that chatter.

In fact, many well-known authors have kicked up their awareness through book clubs, and even bestselling authors continue to engage with book clubs on an ongoing basis. It doesn’t matter if your book has been out a few weeks or even several years. You should always be thinking about how to approach book clubs and reading groups, and sell them on why your book would be a relevant or entertaining read.
